Premier Li Keqiang urged young entrepreneurs to promote Jin merchants’ spirit during his inspection tour in the Qingkong innovation maker space in Taiyuan, Shanxi province on Jan 5.

Jin merchants rely on their wisdom rather than natural resources to innovate, said the Premier. It’s the Jin merchants who first sold tea and silk from the south to the north, and it was also the Jin merchants who opened up exchange shops, the Premier added.

Premier Li reassured entrepreneurs that the government will provide a convenient and efficient platform for them. There is huge potential in the Chinese market and people who have made efforts to set up their own businesses will have a bright future.

Premier Li also experienced the solar car which was developed by an enterprise in the garden. He praised the solar energy technology developed by this enterprise. He also encouraged people to create new economic engines and build a better future for development.
