People in the Republic of Korea showed high expectations to Premier Li Keqiang’s first visit to the country since taking office in 2013.

Aju Business Daily - a major South Korean newspaper - said Premier Li’s visit is important to maintain high-level contact between the two countries and promote bilateral practical cooperation in various fields.

Cha Jae-bok, a top researcher at Northeast Asian History Foundation, said he expects Premier Li’s visit to further enrich the strategic partnership between the two countries and enhance the cooperation in various fields.
