Premier greets Mongolian PM

Premier Li Keqiang on Sept 10 met with Mongolian Prime Minister Chimed Saikhanbileg, who came to Dalian to attend the Summer Davos Forum 2015.

Premier Li said that China and Mongolia are important cooperation partners and neighbors. He said that China is willing to cement political mutual trust with Mongolia, enhance strategic communication, and expand communication and cooperation at various levels to reach mutual benefits.

The Premier said that he hoped the governments of the two countries can continue to play a leading role in promoting cooperation, and stimulating the enthusiasm of the two countries’ companies. He hoped the two sides can strengthen cooperation in fields such as coal gas, electric power, deep processing of agricultural and livestock products; and promote the sustainable development of economic and trading cooperation.

China expects neighboring countries to have stable financial situation, and is willing to expand financial cooperation with Mongolia, the Premier said.

Saikhanbileg said that Mongolia attaches great importance to China’s proposal to develop practical cooperation between the two countries. Mongolia expects to strengthen bilateral political and trade ties, and accelerate project cooperation in fields such as mining, electric power, and railway transportation.
