Premier Li requests thorough investigation

“We have suffered many casualties and learned a difficult lesson,” Premier Li Keqiang said while chairing a meeting aimed at directing rescue efforts in Tianjin on Aug16.

He also said the State Council has set up an investigation team to conduct a “thorough investigation and severely punish those found guilty of illegal activity and dereliction of duty.”

The Premier added that anyone found guilty “will not escape our radar.”
