Premier Li Keqiang said a group of five ministries and government agencies, including the Ministry of Water Resources, should adopt a unified standard and work together for water conservation.

The ministries and agencies aim to address the issue of water conservation with a system involving holding joint conferences.

Premier Li compared them to five dragons, saying the five “dragons” work together for the same cause - the shared “sky”, which symbolizes ordinary people.

Li also said that they should cooperate - rather than compete - to achieve good results in water conservation.
