Premier Li Keqiang shared his school-day experience with Myanmar students. He mentioned his persistence with learning because he believed that knowledge is powerful.

Premier Li said this when answering a student’s question during his visit to the No. 14 Middle School in Nay Pyi Taw, capital of Myanmar, on Nov 14.

Li said that China was materially limited when he was at those students’ age, while the educational facilities were more disadvantaged than what the students have in their school. Li said he had to be a peasant to earn a living after graduating from high school.
