Premier Li Keqiang said on April 10 that Asia needs to deeply integrate with the world for better achievement.

“The global political and economic pattern is undergoing profound restructuring, and the tendency of economic globalization is irreversible,” said Li in a meeting with members of the board of directors of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA).

He made the remarks on the sidelines of the ongoing Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference in Boao in south China’s Hainan province.

“The annual conference this year is centered on strengthening the endogenous dynamic of economic growth in Asian countries, which will be conducive to making Asia realize development of a higher level,” Li said.

Li hoped the forum, which was established 13 years ago, can make more efforts to promote practical cooperation.

The members of the board of directors, including former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and former Chinese ambassador to the United States Zhou Wenzhong, hailed the role of the forum and expressed their will to make more contributions to China and Asia’s development.
