The State Council General Office issued a circular on July 28 to endorse the recent outstanding practices, and experiences, of localities and ministerial departments to better implement the country’s major policies and measures.

From late-May to mid-June, the State Council unfolded a second round of large-scale inspection campaigns to check on how such policies and measures were implemented.

The circular said all the areas and departments have achieved progress in a range of priority missions, and they have come up with some outstanding methods and practices.

As agreed by the State Council, the circular praised 20 types of practices taken by localities and 16 items introduced by ministerial departments, and these were to be publicized among all localities and departments.

According to the document, outstanding practices included Tianjin’s efforts in advancing the start date for constructing large projects and enhanced efforts by the National Development and Reform Commission.

All the localities and departments are required to work in an innovative manner for an early realization of policies and measures as well as achieving the main annual goals and tasks of economic and social development, the circular said.
