The bilateral relationship between China and Malaysia can be seen like the historic course opened by Chinese navigator Zheng He during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), which is full of honesty, friendliness and brings mutual benefits and a win-win situation for the two countries, said Premier Li Keqiang in Malaysia.

He commented on the story of Zheng He, who visited Malacca, Malaysia five times during seven sea voyages and helped local people in an article published by mainstream newspapers in the country.

The premier said developing the “course” is the people’s wish in both countries and also the main trend, and both sides will make continuous efforts to achieve the goal.

Li was to attend the 18th Leaders’ Meeting between ASEAN and China (10+1), the 18th Leaders’ Meeting between ASEAN and China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (10+3) and the 10th East Asia Summit, and pay an official visit to Malaysia from Nov 20 to 23.
