After finishing college, 31-year-old Wang Lei from Ningxia Hui autonomous region in Northwest China ventured into the world of entrepreneurship in 2010.

Things were not easy at the start.

“Lack of experience resulted in failure for my first attempt,” recalled Wang. That frustrated him, but a second opportunity knocked.

When Premier Li Keqiang inspected Ningxia in 2012, he visited Wang’s home and was happy to hear of the young man’s entrepreneurial dream.

“The officials of Ningxia Hui autonomous region introduced the local supporting policies to me, and thus the Premier encouraged me to pursue my dreams,” Wang said.

The Premier’s words proved to be an inspiration. Based on the support of the local government and encouragement from his family, Wang and his partners embarked again on the path of entrepreneurship in 2012. They worked on the idea to develop a better computer, an idea that originated during Wang’s university days.

This time he made it and in 2016, he had another opportunity to meet Premier Li at Ningxia Entrepreneurs Center. Wang was proud to share their latest products and achievements to the Premier.

The computer developed by Wang Lei’s team has become the designated one for the Sino-Arab Economic and Trade Forum. Furthermore, they have also updated the third generation devices. Thousands of users are choosing the computers of Wang’s team in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, especially the region’s capital Yinchuan city.

“My team wishes to push the products toward a better stage, not only going out of Ningxia, but also joining the international market at some point,” Wang said.

He believes the products can become the pride of his hometown.
