The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said at the 2017 Industrial Internet Summit that the country’s industrial internet is fast developing.

More than 38 percent of digital facilities were connected to the internet and were applied by Chinese industrial corporations in 2016. Meanwhile, new production models appeared to accelerate the growth of the industrial internet.

MIIT said the government will increase investment in core technology research and development, while publishing policies to support corporations.
