It’s a big day for Chinese high school students. Over 9 million will compete for a spot in university in the country’s college entrance exam on June 7. Also known as Gaokao, the exam is said to be the largest in the world in terms of candidates.
China’s Ministry of Education has urged measures to ensure that students get a quiet environment, safe food supply, and timely weather forecast.
Cities across China have also offered support, including public transport service and free medical services.
The exam usually takes place on June 7 and 8, and will determine the future for many high school students.
