The 12th China International Cultural Industries Fair has just concluded in Shenzhen. It encompasses 66 venues in the city in southern China’s Guangdong province.

One of the fair’s 66 venues is the Oct-Loft Culture Park, a “creative cluster” in Shenzhen for creative types to gather and share ideas. Among the exhibits are paintings, photography, and design work.

“This is a platform for creative people to showcase their ideas and realize their dreams,” said Liu Hongjie, manager of Oct-Loft Culture Park.

The fair also aims to bring Chinese culture to the world. As the largest original music company, Alliance Art Group has signed agreements with a Spanish agency to help explore the European market.

“This Summer, the Spanish agency will introduce Chinese pop music to Ibiza, the holy land of music in Spain. It’ll be the first time for Chinese artists to perform on the island,” said Bi Qiquan, chairman of Alliance Art Group.

This year’s event has drawn international exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions.
