The State Council Information Office held a press conference to elaborate China’s roadmap 13th Five Year Plan for future development.
The 13th Five Year Plan, a decisive plan to guide future development, lists new strategies, initiatives and action plans to find new development engines and solve issues that the public concern the most.
In the plan, five development concepts were highlighted, including innovative development, coordinated development, green development, open development and shared development. In the next five years, trade structure will be optimized to allow more high-end products exporting from China. China will also develop internet-related industries to boost development in other sectors.
Other key issues like food safety, infrastructure development, poverty alleviation and eco-system restoration. China will also attract more migrant workers to live in urban areas.
