7-year-old giant panda NiNi gave birth to a pair of female cubs on Aug 7, at Sichuan’s Chengdu Research Base. They were the fifth pair of twins born at the breeding center this year.

The elder sister of the twins weighs around 145 grams, while the younger one is a little heavier at just over 200 grams. All together 139 animals live in the Chengdu Research base, which has bred 211 giant pandas.
