It’s party time for the world’s only living panda triplets. Mengmeng, Shuaishuai and Kuku celebrated their first birthday on July 29 at the Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park with a special cake and thousands of well-wishers.
It’s a big birthday party for them. They got a special bamboo and fruit birthday cake as a present. And more than four thousand people came from across China to join the triplets’ birthday celebration.
“I wish them a happy birthday and have healthy and fast growth,” said Li Yu, a visitor.
Panda fans have seen big changes in the triplets since their births. Each panda now weighs more than 30 kilograms and has a height of about one meter.
“Now, each of them is becoming more independent, active and naughty. They like to climb high and jump from time to time, which may cause some accidents. We will keep a close eye on their daily care,” said Dong Guixin, general manager of Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park.
More than 3 million people have come to the park to see Mengmeng, Shuaishuai and Kuku since they made their public debut.
