Wang Yang: Cooperation is long-term, stable and sustainable

Vice-Premier Wang Yang has said the economic cooperation between China and Russia is long-term, stable and sustainable. And it serves both countries’ interests and benefits the world economy.

At a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Wang said China would increase cooperation in oil and gas, and increase exports of industrial, consumer and agricultural goods. He said China is looking forward to more imports of Russia’s electromechanical and high-tech products.

The vice-premier added both sides should make efforts to raise their trade volume to $100 billion by 2015.

He also called for both countries to further open their markets, create more forms of investment cooperation and improve investment climate. Wang was in Russia for the 18th meeting of the Joint Commission for the Regular Prime Ministers’ Meetings of China and Russia between Oct 9 and Oct 11.
