A chance to participate in China’s policy-making

Updated: Dec 29,2015 11:12 AM     english.gov.cn

Since 1953, the Chinese government has made development plans every five years. Now it is approaching the 13th, covering the crucial period of 2016-2020, by the end of which China is expected to achieve moderate prosperity.

A guideline for the 13th Five-Year Plan will be reviewed and passed in March 2016, during the convention of the annual two sessions - the National People’s Congress and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

It should be noted that the guideline will be introduced against a complicated domestic and global economic background. The administration, led by Premier Li Keqiang, is expected to tackle various challenges for the upcoming period and pursue development that is innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared by all.

The State Council would like to invite you to join the discussion on issues you care about the most in the 13th Five-Year Plan and China’s development. It is a great opportunity to participate in China’s policy-making and have your voice heard by Premier Li. Please do not hesitate to write to the Premier’s email address at: premier@mail.gov.cn, identify yourself and offer your insight.

The Chinese government welcomes and appreciates your participation.
