The General Office of the State Council has launched a third-party evaluation on the effect of policies the State Council issued. The evaluation will help the State Council readjust the policies, if necessary.

The evaluation will focus on the policies that were issued in an attempt to fulfill tasks brought up in this year’s government work report and to boost the economy, such as the reform of administrative approval powers and encouraging innovation and mass entrepreneurship.

The General Office of the State Council chose independent organizations, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Development Research Center of the State Council, to carry out the evaluation, which is expected to be finished by the end of August.
