BEIJING — Hainan Airlines will launch China’s first direct flight to the Czech Republic on Sept 23, Czech Ambassador to China Libor Secka said on July 9.

The Beijing-Prague route will be operated three times a week by a Boeing 767.

It will be China’s third direct flight to central and Eastern Europe, following routes linking Beijing with Warsaw and Budapest.
