China raises retail oil prices

BEIJING — China’s top economic planner on Feb 27 announced the retail price of gasoline would be raised by 390 yuan ($63.7) per ton and diesel by 375 yuan per ton.

The adjustment that will come into effect on Feb 28 means retail prices will edge up to 6910 yuan per ton for gas and 5945 yuan per ton for diesel, according to the National Development and Reform Commission.
