CHANGCHUN - Jiang Chaoliang was appointed the acting and vice governor of northeastern Jilin province by the standing committee of the provincial People’s Congress on Sept 5.
Jiang, 57, served as deputy secretary of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) before the new appointment.
The CPC Central Committee said in a statement on Aug 31 it had appointed 59-year-old Bayanqolu, former provincial governor of Jilin, as secretary of Jilin Provincial Committee of the CPC.
