Power construction over Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen railway roughly done

Workers install power lines over the Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen intercity railway in South China’s Guangdong province, as captured by drones on Jan 17, 2019. Construction of the overhead section of the intercity railway, contracted by the China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Co Ltd, is roughly concluded. As part of the main line of the intercity rail transit network of the Pearl River Delta, the Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen intercity railway begins at Xintang town, Guangzhou city, and terminates at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport. Spanning approximately 76 kilometers and 15 stations, it is estimated to open in 2019. [Photo/Xinhua]
