100-MW solar-thermal power plant completed in Dunhuang, NW China’s Gansu

Aerial photo taken on Dec 25 shows a part of the 100-MW solar-thermal power plant at Dunhuang Photoelectric Industrial Park. The plant, initiated by Shouhang Resources Saving, was completed in Dunhuang city, Northwest China’s Gansu province, on Dec 27. It will connect to the national grid and come into service soon. This is currently the largest power plant with the highest heat absorption tower in China. [Photo/Xinhua]
