Construction of hull of deep ocean mining vessel completed in Fujian

Photo taken on Sept 20, 2017 shows the construction site of world’s first deep ocean mining vessel in East China’s Fujian province. The 227-meter-long vessel, upon completion, will be capable of working at depths of 2.5 kilometers and carrying 40,000 tons of ore.
