The year 2016 is about to end. So, what were the events that made a difference in the year gone by? For a start, this year saw China enter the first stage on its way to becoming a well-off society and it was a crucial year for advancing structural reforms in the country, which are both a part of the “Four Comprehensives” strategy. As for the future, the Chinese people want a better life, and want the country’s development to move to the next level. They want the government to focus on more inclusive development so that everyone’s dream of a better life is fulfilled, and the country’s cities and rural areas become more livable.
