The green roofs can absorb rainwater, which is part of a special rainfall collection system in the area, one of the pilot zones in China designated to build sponge cities. In the summer, downpours have paralyzed many cities in China, but Xixian new area remains intact during the stormy weather.[Photo/Xinhua]
