On Oct 12, the People’s Bank of China started releasing about 500 million nickel-plated steel commemorative coins nationwide.
The face value of the nickel-plated steel coin is one yuan ($0.16), and the coin has a diameter of 25 millimeters.

This is the last of the set of commemorative coins for the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-1945) as well as the World Anti-Fascist War. The coins were released starting from Aug 20, and the first three are: a golden coin containing 7.776 grams of gold, a silver coin with 31.104 grams of silver, and a silver coin with 155.52 grams of silver.
