The construction of Shenyang south railway station, the largest in northeast China, is wrapping up with the completion of its east station building and square.
The east station building will come into full service at the end of August when the Shenyang-Dandong high-speed railway becomes operational.
The station, which links the Harbin-Dalian, Shenyan-Dandong, and Beijing-Shenyang railways, is southwest of Hunnan new district and about 9km from Shenyang Taoxian international airport
It will serve as a major comprehensive passenger transport hub, integrating high-speed, inter-urban and light rail, subways, public bus services, taxis, and long-distance passenger transportation.
