Dongjiang Lake is located in Chenzhou city, central China’s Hunan province. It has served as a water reservation reservoir ever since it was built in 1994.

Honored as “South Dongting Lake”, the Dongjiang Lake occupies a surface width of 160 square kilometers and has a water storage capacity of 81.2 cubic meters.

As the biggest artificial lake in the middle and southern area of China, it is also the training base for water sports such as kayaking and water-bicycle.
