Members of a Chinese Government Medical Team are working together with Nepalese military forces to treat injured people in a small village in Dhulikhel, Nepal.

The Chinese team arrived on April 27, after the 7.9-magnitude earthquake rocked Nepal on April 25, killing at least 7,056 people and injuring 14,123 others.

The team immediately started taking part in rescue and relief operations, and villagers arrived on their own - or were transferred by the Nepalese military forces as the road conditions improved.

To date, the medical team had treated more than 600 people including 100 who were seriously injured.
