Many swans have migrated to the city of Rongcheng, where they will spend the winter months. Located at the eastern end of the Shandong peninsula, Rongcheng boasts a natural environment that is favorable for swans, with lagoons and wetlands. Swans from Lake Baikal in the Russian region of Siberia - and also from Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia - started to arrive in Shandong in November, attracting many visitors.
