Dozens of contestants took part in the 2015 freezing weather challenge on Tianmen Mountain, in Zhangjiajie, Central China’s Hunan province, on Jan 24 and 25.

All the competitors, clad in swimsuits, took part in various challenges - such as having buckets of ice water poured over them and standing in a box full of ice cubes.

Chen Kecai, from China’s Northeast Heilongjiang province, gained first place, and Huo Wa, from Hunan province, came second.
