China, Japan to hold security dialogue in Beijing

BEIJING — China and Japan will hold the 16th security dialogue on Feb 1 in Beijing, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced on Jan 31.

Vice-Foreign Minister Kong Xuanyou and visiting Japanese Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Takeo Mori will attend the dialogue, spokesperson Geng Shuang told a daily news briefing.

The two sides will also hold the 28th regular diplomatic consultation, Geng said.

They will exchange views on bilateral relations, defense security policies of the two countries as well as global and international issues of common concern.
