　　At its 24 Meeting, the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress decides in order that re-election of the People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality takes place roughly at the same time as election of the people's congresses of other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, the time for re-election of the People's Congress of Chongqing Municipality may be postponed from June 2002 to early 2003.
