"We should improve our working style" and efforts should be made to step up inspection on law enforcement and supervision on work, he said in a panel discussion with lawmakers from northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), also underscored importance on lawmakers' in-depth investigation to offer insights in a bid to boost the country's further development.
The 11th NPC started its second full session on Thursday, and it will last eight and half days.
