Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping has urged officials at all levels to be studious, honest and clean handed on Tuesday.
Leaders at all levels should attach great importance to study, which is an important channel to make progress and enhance abilities, said Xi, during an opening ceremony of advanced courses of the Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
Their study should advance with the time and be persistent, according to Xi, who is also the Party School president.
Government officials should respect science and practice, and match their words with deeds, he emphasized, noting that they should have an honest style of working, strive to achieve progress and make selfless devotions.
Leaders should also be able to stand up to tests, not to abuse power for personal gains and clean fingered. Leaders should also be enterprising and have high sense of responsibility, he stressed.
