Gao Quanli

Vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, member of the Leading Party Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Male, Han nationality, born in November of 1950, native of Luohe, Henan Province. Started to take up a job in 1968; joined the Communist Party of China in 1969; graduate of Business Management of the Long Distance School, Central Party School.

Joined the Chinese People’s Liberation Army in 1968, squad leader, platoon leader, battalion political instructor in succession; transferred to civilian work in 1977; secretary of state leaders in 1977-1988; director of the Administrative Office of the Logistic Department, secretary of the branch committee of CPC, member of the CPC committee of Logistic Department, Government Offices Administration of the State Council in 1988-1991; deputy director-general, deputy secretary of the CPC committee of the Logistic Department, member of the CPC committee of GOA of State Council in 1991-1994; director-general, secretary of the CPC committee of the Logistic Department, GOA of the State Council in 1994-1996; director-general of Personnel Department, and concurrently standing deputy secretary of the CPC committee of the Administration Organs, GOA of the State Council in 1996-1998; deputy director-general and concurrently secretary of the CPC committee of the Administration Organs, GOA of the State Council, and deputy director of Committee of People’s Aerial Defense of the Central Government Organs in 1998-2000; vice president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and member of the Leading Party Group of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences starting from 2000.
