Mr. Chen Yun, Han ethnic group; born in Fuzhou, Fujian Province in July 1947, graduated from the Department of Chinese, Fujian Normal University; senior economist.

His previous positions were Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Chairman of the Board and President of Fujian Industrial Bank, Secretary-general of Fujian Provincial Government.
