Vice Governor of Fujian Province since January 1998. Mr. Wang is in charge of science and technology, education, culture, public health, sports, family planning and ethics building of the Provincial government

Mr. Wang Yifu, Han ethnic group; Taiwan origin, was born in March 1950, and graduated from the Department of Chinese, Fujian Normal University, postgraduate, Master of Arts and researcher. He is a member of the Standing Committee of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League of China.

His previous positions were Vice Chairman and Chairman of Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League of Fujian Province.
