In 2004, the proportion of the total steel plate production to the total steel strip production was 30%, an increase of 10 % over that at the end of the Ninth Five-Year Plan; The proportion of the new type of dry-processed cement reached more than 75%, an increase of 45 % over that at the end of the Ninth Five-Year Plan; The output of radial tire was increased by 132% over the end of the Ninth Five-Year Plan; The output of car reached 100,000 from scratch, accounting for 32% of the total output of automobiles.
